These handcrafted Nichos are made at Cielito Lindo Studio in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Cielito Lindo Estudio was established in the 1980’s and is known for its unique folk art in the central town of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. San Miguel de Allende is known for its baroque Spanish architecture, thriving arts scene, and cultural festivals. It is here, tucked away in a small workshop on the outskirts of town that the Studio creates original folk art. Incorporating the traditional elements of Mexican culture, humor, materials and artisanal legacy, hand forged metal, wooden figures, ceramics, Mexican folk sayings, and Dia de Los Muertos motifs elaborated in elegant hues and electric colors. Each piece is original and unique.
